QM 600 Chuck holds PQ, HQ, NQ, BQ drill rods. QM chucks have universal parts to CS1000 and HD600/900 heads. The only difference is that the tension springs have an internal guide rod which keeps them perpendicular while the chuck is opening and closing. This produces greater pressure on the inner jaws holding the drill rods. The tension springs internal guide rod also acts as a guard in the event of spring failure preventing release.
