Over ten years of successful operation, Quality Machining Ltd has established itself as a leader in the service and supply of engineered products for the drilling sector.

Experienced fitter and turner Jason Boddy formed the business in 1998, having recognised unsatisfied demand from drilling operators for specialised engineering support.

The enterprise now has a staff of six, an extensive capability in engineering and machining (large CNC work and high-precision wire cutting are specialties) and drilling customers throughout New Zealand and in at least ten other countries.

Quality Machining Ltd excels in its ability to prototype expertly, to supply a wide range of components ex-stock and to respond with urgency when required. For several years Jason Boddy worked as a maintenance fitter for a drilling company: he well knows the costs of down-time.

Facilitating response times is the company’s uniquely extensive stock inventory  including subs, head and chuck parts as well as down-hole consumables in BQ, HQ, PQ & NQ.
